Go see Sorcerer!

 

New exciting collaboration with the British artist Ed Atkins and the American author Steven Zultanski, on the performance SorcererYou can see Sorcerer at Theater Republic from 19th of March - 9th April 2022​

 

1st of December 2021 Nønne Mai Svalholm was awarded with "Career Program for the Young Artistic Elite" (D.U.K.E. in Danish) by The Danish Arts Foundation´s Interdisciplinary Committee. It is a great honor to be among the artists who have been awarded the 2-year career program. We look very much forward to get started with the career program in close collaboration with producer Carlos Calvo, strategic partner and administrator Jens Christian Jensen, and mentor and curator Pernille Taapaard Dinesen.

 

14th - 18th of October 2021 Nønne Mai Svalholm will travel to Reykjavik, Iceland to meet with nordic colleauges and the network Rethink Ageing - Nordic: art, helth & resheach which she initiated in 2018. Rethink Ageing - Nordic: art, helth & resheach is supported by The Nordic Culture Point.

 

4th of Juni 2021 we present PRIMUS at Dansekapellet in Copenhageb. We are very happy to be selected for the International Showcase during CPH STAGE. We look forward to live stream selected parts of PRIMUS and to present the PRIMUS live on stage on 4th of juni.

8th of April 2021 premieres a new video by CAPACOA - the Canadian / Nordic and pan-global network that SVALHOLM has been invited into, as one of 4 Danish choreographers. In the video Choreographer and Artistic Director Nønne Mai Svalholm shares reflections on artistic practice during the pandemic together with selected artists from Canada, Norway, Argentina, Brazil, Scotland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Chile, Columbia, Japan, Mexico and Denmark. We will share the video with you on our instagram @svalholm

 

3rd - 4th of February 2021 SVALHOLM will participate in CPH STAGE #NeverNotConnected - a series of online talks with international presenters for the professional environment.

4th of February at 2:15 - 2:55 pm you can experience the talk: Developing cross-disciplinary aesthetic languages with Sara Hamming (Moribund, DK), moderator Stine Nielsen (CEO & Artistic Director of CODA, NO) and Nønne Mai Svalholm (SVALHOLM, DK).
